Tiny steps, huge difference

When I was a younger man, Jim Stynes was a beacon of what it meant to be good and true and relentless. Max Gawn has followed in Jim's footsteps and forged his own way to be good, true and relentless as well.
I smashed my body this year, going way too hard at 61 on a mountain bike. So I'm full of hardware and trying to beat the pain and regain my fitness. I stepped from hospital to a wheelchair to crutches to learning to walk again, and now I'm going for 50kays in November for the Jim Stynes Foundation. I won't be running, but I'll give the walking a good push and by the end aim to be shuffling into a jog.
This is as much about my mind as my body. People like Jim and Max inspire me because they're relatable, they're Dees and they never, ever give/gave up. And neither do I.
